
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute commercial marketing programs that support CHB's growth across retail, foodservice and distribution channels.
Partner with the CHB sales team to support new customer acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
Create customer-specific marketing initiatives, product launches, promotions and sales support materials.
Lead the development of marketing content by providing strategic direction, messaging and creative oversight for photography, video, digital assets and promotional materials.
Coordinate marketing resources through AHA and external partners to ensure consistent brand execution.
Develop presentations, case studies and sales tools that communicate the value of Certified Hereford Beef.
Support customer events, merchandising programs, trade shows and promotional activities.
Measure marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements based on business results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Agriculture, Animal Science or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in commercial marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing or a related role.
Meat industry experience strongly preferred; food, agriculture or CPG experience will also be considered.
Understanding of retail, foodservice and distributor marketing.
Strong project management, communication and organizational skills.
Experience collaborating with sales teams, customers and external creative partners.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) with the ability to review creative layouts and collaborate on photography, video and digital content. Graphic design expertise is not required.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events and trade shows.
Location
This position is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and works closely with the Certified Hereford Beef team and American Hereford Association resources.
